In the Bosphorus, a dry cargo ship that left the Ukrainian port was refloated

As RIA Novosti writes with reference to the Turkish media, a dry cargo ship was refloated in the Bosphorus, which left the Ukrainian port with grain. It is noted that the strait is still closed to the movement of ships. Dry cargo tugboats transport in the direction of Akhirkapı region. Here it will be anchored for later repairs.

Immediately after the withdrawal of the vessel from the main routes of crossing the Bosphorus, the Turkish authorities will resume traffic along the strait again.

The 173-meter cargo ship ran aground due to a steering failure.

On September 1, the Bosphorus was blocked due to a ship with Ukrainian grain that ran aground. Tugs KURTARMA-5, KURTARMA-6, KURTARMA-9, KURTARMA-12, NAZIM TUR and boats KEGM-3, KEGM-5 were sent to the scene of the accident to the 173-meter cargo ship LADY ZEHMA, which ran aground due to failure rudder while sailing from Ukraine to Istanbul.
