A young Crimean woman defiantly destroyed a Russian passport at the border

On the border of Ukraine, a young Crimean woman decided defiantly to renounce the Russian citizenship imposed on her.

Literally: “At one of the checkpoints, a girl voluntarily turned a document with a two-headed vulture on a blood-red cover into an ordinary rag.

She said that she was only 10 years old when the invaders came to the peninsula. Propaganda and Kremlin henchmen for 8 years convinced the child that she was Russian, but to no avail. Having entered the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, she said that she was Ukrainian and wanted to have the citizenship of her country, and not imposed by the occupiers.”
