CSKA lost to Severstal in the second match of the KHL playoff series

Moscow hockey club CSKA on Saturday, March 4, lost to Severstal Cherepovets in the second match of the first round of the playoffs of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).

The fight took place at the CSKA Arena in Moscow. The match ended with the defeat of CSKA in overtime with a score of 2:3 (0:1, 0:0, 2:1, 0:1).

Severstal’s victory was brought by Nikita Guslistov, who scored a goal in overtime in the 83rd minute.

After two matches of the series, the teams have one win each. The third and fourth meetings will take place at Severstal’s home arena on March 6 and 8. After that, the teams will meet on March 10 in Moscow.

Earlier, on March 2, Sibir Novosibirsk defeated Avangard Omsk in the first match of the KHL playoffs, which took place in Omsk. The total score of the match is 2:1 in favor of Sibir. At the same time, the main time of the meeting ended in a draw 1:1. Nikita Setdikov scored the winning goal in overtime.
