General of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told what could hide explosives in a truck on the Crimean bridge

Honored Rescuer of the Russian Federation, Major General Nikolai Vdovin told RIA Novosti that the explosives in the truck on the Crimean bridge could be hidden by a special reflective film.

“The explosives were probably wrapped in a special film, which did not allow scanners to illuminate the explosive <…> Therefore, thanks to certain technical means, everything can be organized,” Vdovin said.

He added that such a film could “reflect or “short” the signal. Vdovin also noted that not every post has the technical capabilities to scan vehicles.

“With a large flow of trucks, not all of them will be unloaded and checked,” the general noted.

Earlier, the FSB named the alleged organizer of the explosion on the Crimean bridge. According to the intelligence service, he is the head of military intelligence of Ukraine Kirill Budanov. In total, 12 people participated in the preparation of the attack, eight of them have already been detained.
