Nokia introduced a smartphone with the possibility of self-repair

The HMD company announced the Nokia G22 smartphone, in which the main emphasis is placed on maintainability and environmental friendliness. This was reported by the GSMArena portal.

The novelty is equipped with a 6.52-inch display with a frequency of 90 Hz. The Nokia G22 is powered by a budget Unisoc T606 chip, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of permanent memory.

A three-camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro module, and a 2MP depth sensor is installed on the back of the device. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP.

The Nokia G22 comes pre-installed with Android 12. The manufacturer promises 2 OS updates and 3 years of security patch support.

The 5050mAh battery supports 20W wired charging.

The main feature of the Nokia G22 is the possibility of self-repair. If necessary, smartphone owners can buy the necessary part on the iFixit website and change it themselves. For example, changing the battery will take about 5 minutes, and the screen – 20.
