Also in the DPR, the missile guidance radar of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed. In addition, HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and Ukrainian drones were destroyed.

“During the day, 12 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were shot down, and 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed,” the Defense Ministry said.

In total, 394 aircraft, 215 helicopters and 3,324 unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation, Konashenkov said.

On the eve it was reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-24 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR. During the day, one HIMARS multiple rocket launcher was shot down by air defense means and 18 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed.

A day earlier, the Russian military destroyed two Ukrainian aircraft, a Su-24 and a Su-25. This happened in the Mikhailovka area in the DPR and Krynok in the Kherson region. In addition, a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down near the village of Kurakhovka in the DPR.

Earlier, on March 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also reported that the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft. Konashenkov also noted that over the past day, 97 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

On February 25, Russian fighter jets shot down Ukrainian Su-24 and MiG-29 aircraft in the DPR.
