The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the call of the ambassadors of Germany, Denmark and Sweden in connection with accidents at the joint venture

The heads of the diplomatic missions of Germany, Denmark and Sweden have been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry in recent days. This was reported on the website of the department on October 13.

“They expressed bewilderment due to the lack of an official response to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s appeal sent on October 5 to the leadership of these countries regarding the involvement of representatives of the competent departments of our country and PJSC Gazprom in the investigation of sabotage committed jointly by Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm. September 27, 2022 on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines,” the statement said.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that if Russian experts are denied access to ongoing investigative actions, Russia will consider that these three countries are either hiding something or covering up the perpetrators of terrorist acts on gas pipelines.

“Russia, of course, will not recognize any “pseudo-results” of such an investigation if Russian specialists do not participate in it,” the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.

The day before, German Interior Ministry spokesman Maximilian Kahl said that a joint investigation team from Germany, Denmark and Sweden had begun investigating the details of the incidents on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
