“There will be many more threats”: Zelensky on Russia’s nuclear weapons

President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the world community to respond to Russia’s threats to use nuclear weapons, as there will be many more such intimidations.

Direct speech: “Because there will be many more such threats (with nuclear weapons – ed.). In order to reduce them, it should be systematically written out what the reaction will be. Even to words or intentions. So that such military-political leaders are afraid to even think of threatening anyone state with anything – nuclear weapons, or starvation, or annexation, or occupation.”

Details: Zelensky added that one can believe or not believe in Russia’s threats, but the world must be strong and not be afraid of intimidation from the aggressor.

The President is convinced that Ukraine can set an example of such changes in the international security system, because it was on Ukrainian territory that Russia violated human rights, seized a nuclear power plant and threatened with nuclear weapons.

What preceded this: On September 25, Vladimir Zelensky said that he did not consider Vladimir Putin’s words about the use of nuclear weapons a “bluff”.
