Ukrenergo received more than 4.4 billion for the export of electricity to the EU

From June 30 to September 25, NPC Ukrenergo sold access to interstate power grids for more than UAH 4.4 billion at auctions.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo in Telegram.

“Over the last week, September 19-25, the available volume of sections to Slovakia and Romania was sold in full. Up to 12 companies participated in the auctions,” the message says.

In general, during the last week in the adjacent European markets, electricity prices continue to decline.

Accordingly, in the day-ahead market (DAM) in Romania, the average base load price from September 19 to 24 was about 366.4 euros / MWh against the previous week 386.8 euros / MWh, and in Slovakia – about 359, EUR 5/MWh vs. EUR 442.6/MWh.

At the same time, on the Ukrainian DAM, the base load price increased and on most days amounted to €90-91/MWh.
