Zelensky: “I’m shocked. Israel didn’t give us anything”

President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was shocked at the lack of aid to Ukraine from Israel since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Direct speech: “I’m shocked. I don’t understand. Israel gave us nothing, nothing, zero … I understand that they must defend their land, but I received information that Israel exports its weapons to other countries.”

“I’m stating the facts: there were discussions with the Israeli leadership, and this did not help Ukraine. Why not give us air defense?”

Details: Zelensky noted that he does not blame the leaders of the country, but simply states the fact.

The President also spoke about Russia’s influence on Israel.

“You can see Russia’s influence on Israel. I see Israel as an independent state,” he added.
