In Odesa and Zaporizhzhia regions, interruptions in the operation of mobile communications

A difficult situation with ensuring the operation of mobile communications has developed in the Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions, – reported the head of the State Special Communications Service Yury Shchygol.

Thus, only 46.3% of base communication stations work in Zaporizhia Oblast, and 57.8% in Odesa Oblast. In the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region, 21% of communication transmitters were restored, work is ongoing. There are also difficulties in Donetsk region and Luhansk region.

In general, 76% of mobile communication stations across the country are now operating due to enemy shelling. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, repair crews of communication operators have restored the work of 1,200 base stations and 3,200 kilometers of fiber optic lines, modernized more than 8,000 stations.
