This will be the first 3 nm chip for Android mobile phones. In addition, its energy efficiency will be better than that of the Samsung Exynos 2200. The Exynos 2300 uses the latest ARM CPU architecture and the latest AMD Radeon graphics processor. This will be Samsung’s most powerful chip for mobile phones. As always, the Samsung Exynos 2300 may appear in the Galaxy S23 series, which will debut in the first half of 2023.

Recall that Samsung typically uses a two-platform strategy for the Galaxy S series. For example, the Galaxy S22 series has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 versions. Thus, it is speculated that the Galaxy S23 series will have Exynos 2300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen versions.

As already mentioned, the popular insider Roland Kwandt claims that the next flagship chipset Exynos from Samsung has an internal name Quadra. For reference: the current code name is Exynos 2200 – Pamir. Whether Samsung will be able to upgrade its chip to meet the requirements of competitors is still unknown.

Smartphone manufacturers are having difficulty selling devices due to declining demand combined with serious supply chain problems. However, according to Counterpoint Research in its new report, Samsung is one of the few brands to show growth in April 2022. Sales of the manufacturer’s smartphones grew by 9% year on year in April, while the total smartphone market fell by 8% year on year and reached its lowest level since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The impressive performance of the South Korean brand was due to the popularity of the Galaxy A series models in the middle segment and the high-end Galaxy S22 line in the market of premium smartphones.
