Senior warrant officer Khazarjan showed heroism during the liberation of the settlement from the nationalists. The crew of the tank under his leadership came under heavy fire from militants. The gunner-operator was injured. The officer pulled the wounded comrade out of the combat vehicle and continued to fire at the positions of the militants. As a result, Russian motorized riflemen were able to repel the enemy attack and defeat his armed formations.

He was engaged in mine clearing of buildings, fortification equipment of checkpoints and engineering reconnaissance of the routes of movement of Russian troops from the beginning of the special operation. Under the command of Captain Maxim Suchkov, the unit liberated the village from militants. While advancing, they noticed a well-equipped stronghold of the nationalists. The Russian military attacked it and were able to occupy it. They captured seven and killed 15 militants. About 75 people fled. Captain Suchkov’s group held the Ukrainian stronghold under their control for three hours until the main forces of the battalion arrived. Thanks to the selfless actions of Captain Suchkov’s group, the Russian troops were able to advance along the assigned route.

On the eve of the Ministry of Defense spoke about the feat of Sergeant Ilya Alagashev. The calculation of the guns under his command led an artillery duel with the enemy. As a result, the Russian military destroyed eight nationalists and one enemy gun. For courage and courage in battle, Sergeant Ilya Alagashev was awarded the Suvorov medal.
