At the beginning of this year, a line of Qin 3 smartphones was presented, which will be produced by Duoqin. The latter is part of a large network of partner companies supported by Xiaomi. Previous Qin smartphones and push-button phones have been mentioned in reviews and press releases exclusively in connection with the Xiaomi brand, sometimes referred to as the manufacturer Duoqin.
The Qin 3 is the successor to the Xiaomi Qin 2 model introduced in 2019. Overall, the company says it launched this line of phones to address the growing smartphone addiction problem in China. Although the details of how this problem is solved remained behind the scenes.
The line includes a basic model called Qin 3, Qin 3 Pro and top Qin 3 Ultra. Simultaneously with the announcement, the company began accepting pre-orders. The Qin 3 smartphone is available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage for $145. The Qin 3 Pro with 6/128GB costs around $200, while the Qin 3 Ultra with 8/256GB is priced at $232.
Qin 3 and Qin 3 Pro are equipped with screens with a diagonal of 5.5 inches, and the Qin 3 Ultra model received a 5.05-inch screen. The Qin 3 and Qin 3 Pro have a bang-type cutout, while the Qin 3 Ultra has a small round cutout for the front camera in the upper left corner of the screen. Other details about their characteristics have not yet been reported.
