Björk Announces 2023 Cornucopia Shows

Björk has announced a handful of tour dates for later this year, bringing her Cornucopia performance to stages in Australia, Japan, and Europe. See the full itinerary below.

In a statement about Cornucopia, which she’s presented in New York, Reykjavik, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in recent years, Björk indicated the connection between Cornucopia, 2017’s Utopia, and October’s Fossora:

cornucopia was always intended to be a world for both utopia and the album after that ….

which is now out there called fossora .

so i am truly excited to premier those 2 worlds colliding , this autumn in southern Europe

The upcoming Cornucopia performances will include the flute septet Viibra and an expanded instrumental ensemble, plus a reverb chamber. Since releasing Fossora last year, Björk has shared a new video for “Sorrowful Soil” and picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. Earlier this month, she shared a remix of Fossora’s “Ovule” by Sega Bodega and Shygirl.
