LINKIN PARK’s “Lost” Is Unsurprisingly Very Popular

Linkin Park announced their Meteora 20^th Anniversary Edition on February 10 and launched a long-lost track called “Lost.” In those eight days since the announcement, “Lost” has racked up over 17 million streams on Spotify and 16 million views on YouTube.

Billboard also points out that “Lost” is the first rock song in over a decade to debut at No. 1 on their Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. “Lost” also currently sits at No. 4 on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart, which is the best the band has done since 2010; and No. 6 on Mainstream Rock Airplay, which makes it their 18^th top 10 on the chart.

“Finding this track was like finding a favorite photo you had forgotten you’d taken, like it was waiting for the right moment to reveal itself,” said Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda of the song. “For years, fans have been asking us to release something with Chester‘s voice, and I’m thrilled we’ve been able to make that happen in such a special way. I think they’re going to be floored when they hear and see all the incredible unreleased songs and video footage in METEORA|20.”
