Tiësto has finally released his hotly anticipated remix of the White Lotus theme song, “Renaissance.”
After months of dropping it in his live sets for fans, the Dutch dance music icon has finally made his remix available on streaming platforms. Many electronic music producers have tried their hand at reworking music from HBO’s runaway hit series, like Flux Pavilion and EDM.com Class of 2023 star Westend. However, Tiësto’s remix is the first to be deemed “official” by the network.
“Renaissance” was written by Chilean-Canadian composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer, who has won two Emmy Awards for his work on the show. After months of Tiësto’s remix going viral on TikTok, the traction from his dancefloor-ready remake galvanized HBO to join forces and release it in an official capacity.
“As a huge fan of The White Lotus I couldn’t be more excited to be releasing the official remix,” Tiësto said in a press statement. “I was instantly hooked on the theme song so I had to put my spin on it for my live sets… every time I play it, the crowd goes crazy! I’m thrilled HBO wanted to partner and make it official.”
