The rising producer’s second single of 2023 is as mesmerizing as its predecessor.
Bringing together summery aesthetics and playful melodies, PACIFICA has unveiled his latest gem of a single, “TIDES.”
The track follows “SWIM SONG,” his first single of 2023, which saw him combine heartfelt vocals and euphoric drops for a stunning indietronica track. This time around, PACIFICA has joined forces with singer-songwriter Danni Carra.
Released independently, “TIDES” beautifully blends the respective talents of each into a cohesive mix that takes us on a carefree journey. Here, PACIFICA creates the perfect backdrop for the effervescent vocals of Carra, who has featured on songs with the likes of SLANDER, SABAI, MiTiS and more. He produces distorted synths and groovy percussion to kickstart “TIDES,” which seamlessly evolves into a series of chaotic yet infectious drops.
Partnering with visual artist Jayden Becker, who has worked with Flume, Remi Wolf and Meek Mill, PACIFICA also dropped a captivating visual component alongside the release of “TIDES.” Check out the video, which is filled with bold colors and oceanic imagery, below.
PACIFICA has been capturing the attention of an ever-growing audience with his creative and lively productions ever since he shared his debut single, “if you want,” in collaboration with Yomaez back in 2018. Maintaining control of the creative process, with production and vocals done completely in-house, PACIFICA boasts 2.5 million Spotify streams across his catalog at the time of writing.
