The “Anti-Hero” superstar performs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Nissan Stadium, the outdoor home of the Tennessee Titans and Music City’s largest seated music venue. As of publication time, the National Weather Service forecasts rain for most of Friday in Nashville, with up to an 80% chance of showers starting in the morning and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

If it rains … ?
All rain and no lightning? The show goes on. Pack a rain jacket and a few plastic bags to protect cell phones and other valuables from water damage. Nissan Stadium does not allow ticketholders to bring umbrellas into the venue.

If it storms … ?
If lightning strikes within eight miles of the stage, the venue must cease the concert and ask show-goers to shelter-in-place. After 30 minutes of no lightning strikes within eight miles, the show can resume. Concert officials work with the Nashville Office of Emergency Management and National Weather Service to determine when a show needs to be paused.
If a shelter-in-place order begins, ticket-holders should follow instructions on the stadium mega-screens; updates may also be shared via Nissan Stadium on social media.
If a concert-goer arrives at the stadium during a shelter-in-place ordinance, they should wait in the car until organizers give an all-clear.

Would the show be postponed?
Like predicting May weather in Middle Tennessee, there’s no clear answer for this. Decision-makers must weigh factors such as staffing, security and tour routing, to name a few.
When Garth Brooks postponed his 2021 show at Nissan Stadium after an hour-and-a-half weather delay, he later said the decision not play the stadium the following night came down to whether or not the venue could provide “the level of experience that the Titans stadium is used to giving people that come there.”
“One thing is the food,” Brooks said after the postponement. “With 70,000 people there, you feed them, then you gotta go find food for 70,000 more people the next day. It was impossible. Servers? impossible. People to direct traffic? Just impossible.”
