Social Distortion working on new album, on tour this summer

SoCal punk vets Social Distortion will be on tour this summer with The Bell Rays, with dates running coast-to-coast June through August. They’ll hit the NYC area in July with shows at Long Island’s The Paramount on 7/28 and NJ’s Starland Ballroom on 7/30. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday, March 31 at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

Expect new songs on this tour, as the band are working on their first album since 2011. Frontman Mike Ness told the OC Register that Social D planned on going into the studio this year with a lot of songs with plans for the new album to drop in 2024. “There’s no shortage of material,” he said. Stay tuned for news on that.
