Sydney Sweeney, Jonathan Davino go on date amid Glen Powell drama

Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, shut down speculation that their relationship is on the rocks by stepping out together Friday night.

The couple were photographed in photos obtained by the Daily Mail wearing matching outfits on a date night in New York City as rumors that the actress had a fling with her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell heat up online.

Sweeney, 25, wore a tight black mini-dress, knee-high leather boots, an oversized leather jacket and silver hoop earrings.

Meanwhile, Davino, 38, also took out his leather jacket for the outing and paired it with a black T-shirt, pants and dress shoes.

The “Euphoria” star and restauranteur did not show any PDA but appeared in relatively good spirits with Davino gently putting his hand on Sweeney’s back at one point.

Earlier in the night, we’re told the actress hosted an Armani event at the Gansevoort hotel rooftop as she’s the face of the new fragrance My Way.

“She had a lot of handlers and security around her,” an eyewitness tells Page Six exclusively.

The spy also notes that Sweeney “wasn’t drinking and seemed to want to stay very low key and under the radar.”

However, because she was hosting the event, Sweeney took the mic at one point in the night to give a short speech and tell guests, “Thank you everyone, have a nice weekend.” 

Partygoers, who also included Dylan Sprouse, Chase Stokes, Sailor Brinkley Cook and AnnaSophia Robb, were overheard talking about the launch of the members-only club Seven24, we’re also told.

Although it is unclear if Davino accompanied his fiancée, a source says the “White Lotus” actress spent a lot of her time with newlyweds Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage.

Sweeney’s relationship has been under a microscope ever since Powell’s girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed her on Instagram.

Fans believed that the “Top Gun: Maverick” star and model may have broken up because of his flirty friendship with his co-star.

Although a break-up has not yet been confirmed, Paris, 30, fueled the split rumors even more earlier this week by sharing a cryptic post, which she captioned, “Know your worth & onto the next.” She also unfollowed her alleged ex on Instagram.

Aside from acting together, Powell and Sweeney spent a lot of time together off set in Australia while filming their new rom-com.

The actress was even seen cozying up to her co-star’s family during a trip to the zoo and hasn’t been wearing her engagement ring lately.

However, the photos of Sweeney sans her symbolic jewelry are not what they seem because the last time she was pictured with her massive rock was in October 2022.

Sweeney has been engaged to Davino since February 2022.
