USMNT vs El Salvador – Concacaf Nations Preview: TV Channel, live stream, team news & prediction
The United States men’s national team look to continue their excellent Concacaf Nations League form against El Salvador on Monday night in Orlando, Florida.
Coming off a 7-1 thrashing of Grenada, the USMNT will want to add to their excellent attacking form with another win against El Salvador. The US will enter this game on top of Group D with 7 points, but if they want to advance to the Nations League final in June, a result against El Salvador is crucial.
El Salvador is also looking to come out of this match with a result.
Sitting second just behind the US in Group D, Hugo Perez, and his squad are the underdogs, but they have shown they can draw the Stars and Stripes on a good day.

After their 7-1 victory over Grenada, coach Anthony Hudson will likely rotate and bring in players who didn’t get significant minutes in the first match.
Daryl Dike, Alejandro Zendejas, Taylor Booth, Yunus Musah, Johnny Cordoso, Tim Read, and first-choice starting full-backs Antonee Robinson and Sergino Dest could all see time on the pitch, after taking a backseat against Grenada.
The US needs a draw or a win to advance to the finals of the Nations League in June. The winner of Group D will also qualify for the Gold Cup this summer. As far as injuries go, every player is fully fit and clear to play.
After a 1-0 loss to Honduras, El Salvador will look to get back to winning ways.
Coach Hugo Perez isn’t shy about pulling off upsets over the United States either. In June 2022, El Salvador ground out a 1-1 draw against the Stars and Stripes in less-than-ideal conditions.
Los Cuscatlecos will be looking to get a similar result tonight.
The US looked very good in their outing against Grenada, and coach Anthony Hudson will want them to continue that attacking prowess.
While El Salvador has been difficult to play on the road, the US will be at home with a crowd behind him.
Unfortunately, this fixture looks set to be lopsided. The Stars and Stripes have too much firepower for Los Cuscatlecos to handle, and it will come down to their defense being able to limit chances from the American attack.
USMNT 4-0 El Salvador
