Ariana Madix Slams Bethenny Frankel Over Raquel Leviss Interview

Ariana Madix is breaking her silence on Bethenny Frankel‘s interview with Raquel Leviss (who is now going by “Rachel“).

Last week, Rachel appeared on Bethenny‘s podcast for her first interview since leaving a mental health treatment facility where she opened up about her affair with Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Sandoval.

In the interview, Rachel explained why she started an affair with Sandoval, claimed that and Ariana were only friends on the show, and said that she felt exploited by Bravo.

On Friday (August 25), Ariana appeared on Scheana Shay‘s podcast Scheananigans with Scheana Shay where she called out Bethenny, saying she “should have known better” than to do an interview with Rachel.

“Bethenny actually upset me more in the things that were said,” Ariana started, clarifying that she didn’t listen [to the three-part interview] but did read synopses.”

Ariana went on to say that Bethenny did not “know what the f–k” she was talking about when she shared her opinions on Rachel cheating with Sandoval while he was still with Ariana.

Scheana agreed, adding that Bethenny needed to do “more research.”

Bethenny admitted in her interview with Rachel that she does not watch Vanderpump Rules and only know about Scandoval based on a few articles she’s read and a few videos she’s watched.

Ariana then went on to address the “very hurtful” comments Bethenny made about Sandoval and Rachel‘s affair meaning less because Sandoval and Ariana weren’t married and didn’t have kids, despite being together for nearly nine years.

“In many states, [he was my common law spouse],” Ariana said. “I find that hurtful in regards to other women in relationships who don’t have children. Maybe they can’t have children or don’t want children or don’t want to get married.”

“None of those people’s relationships are less meaningful because of that,” Ariana continued. “She should know better than to say that about anybody.”

Ariana also clapped back at Bethenny and Rachel shading Ariana for still living with Sandoval after their split.

“I keep my door locked,” Ariana said.

In an Instagram exchange with a fan earlier this week, Ariana further elaborated on why she still lives with Sandoval, saying that she is working with her “lawyer and financial advisors to navigate the best path forward.”

She also added that she wants to avoid “uprooting [her] dog and elderly cat and causing more trauma.”

A fellow Bravo recently also slammed Bethenny, seemingly accusing her of exploiting Rachel for her own personal gain.
