Boosie Badazz Breaks Down His Lucrative ‘Rap Hustle’ Earnings: ‘It’s Easy, Bro’ – HipHopDX
Boosie Badazz has managed to stay rich and relevant for two decades, and he has now revealed the rates he charges as an established artist.
In a recently surfaced video, the Southern rapper went into detail about his earnings and revealed how much he makes from all the different services he offers. The 40-year-old has been in the game since the late ’90s and has accumulated a lot wealth from his hustle since.
“Thirty, 40 [thousand] a weekend on features and videos, bro,” he began. “I get 60, 65 for club. 90 to 100 for arena — if it’s an arena, my back end 45, bro.” He even claimed to generate $100,000 each month from “business drops” while his rates for featuring in someone else’s music videos range from $22–25,000.
He continued: “I love to rap hustle, bro. It’s easy, bro. I mean, I used to do this shit for free. I used to rap in the project all day for free. Rap in the hood all day, just so my cousin [didn’t] send me in the house early.”
“So when you call me for that money, bro, I’ma come and get it, bro,” he concluded. “I ain’t satisfied.

One of the reasons Boosie is still popular and revered after all these years is because he has always stuck by his character. Among the many traits he wears as a badge of honor is his street mentality and aversion to snitching.
That is precisely why he wasn’t happy about Kodak Black collaborating with 6ix9ine on a new single. The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram Live last week to put the “Super Gremlin” rapper on blast for working with Tekashi, whose reputation as a snitch has made him a reviled figure in the rap world.
In a disappointed rant, Boosie claimed the Sniper Gang boss has “no morals or principles” and stated he “ain’t no street n-gga” as a result of the collaboration.
“That n-gga Yak fucked me up,” he said. “I wonder how all them Zoes feel, dawg? I know them Zoes fucked up right now.
“I know the state of Florida fucked up right now. This n-gga ain’t got no morals, don’t got no principles. Damn. Thought that little n-gga wasn’t like that, bro. N-gga ain’t no street n-gga, at all. Damn. Fucked me up.”
He added: “N-gga hurt me with that one, fucked me up. Don’t care how much money you give.”
However, in a follow-up tweet, Boosie took a step back from going at 6ix9ine for the collab, writing: “Got nothing to say bout 69 he doing that he pose to do.”
