Former Escort Claims Alleged Long Island Serial Killer ‘Got Off’ Talking About Gilgo Beach Murders During Date!

One woman claims she narrowly escaped becoming the next victim of the Gilgo Beach murder suspect!

In an interview with The New York Daily News on Tuesday, Nicole Brass revealed she “dated” alleged Long Island serial killer Rex Heuermann eight years ago. Back in 2015, she told the outlet she joined websites like Seeker and BackPage to connect with wealthy men and go on dates with them in order to feed her addiction to opiates. It was on one of these sites that she got in contact with Heuermann.

Although the 59-year-old allegedly wanted to meet her in a hotel room near Massapequa Park, Nicole wasn’t comfortable with the idea. She says the pair eventually agreed to have dinner at Steamroom seafood restaurant in Port Jefferson, Long Island. While the date “seemed totally normal” at first, things took a chilling turn when he brought up the Gilgo Beach murders. Nicole recalled:

“He asked me if I’m a true crime fan … We talked briefly about other serial killers, then he said, ‘Have you heard of the Gilgo Beach murders?’ That’s when he got real weird.”

She claimed Heuermann quickly became excited and animated as they discussed the murders. In fact, Nicole said he seemingly “got off” on the discussion and revealed details about the slayings she never heard of since the news of the murders broke in 2010. She remembered the architect bringing up one victim she didn’t know anything about, noting that “it seemed like he was talking about it from experience, not a point of view.” Nicole added:

“It didn’t seem like somebody who feels bad when he talked about the victims. It seemed like somebody who really wanted to brag about what they did, but couldn’t. When he spoke, something about it his body language changed, the look in his eyes changed, and it seemed like talking about the victims was enjoyable for him.”

The entire experience was deeply upsetting for Nicole – to the point where she tried wrapping up dinner early. However, she says, Heuermann couldn’t take a hint. He allegedly pushed for her to go with him to the hotel room he booked for the night. Thankfully, per her account, she managed to escape him and leave before anything happened. Nicole says she didn’t report the incident to the police since she was on parole for a felony drug conviction at the time.

Luck was on her side, too, as years after this alleged nightmare date, Heuermann was arrested for the murders of three women and named the prime suspect in the death of another. If he is the serial killer, that means there’s a chance Nicole could have become another victim if she had gone with him that night! Hell, even if she hadn’t! Super scary!
