Jawan Advance Booking LIVE Updates: Shah Rukh Khan looks to create new benchmarks in UK; Undisputed King – PINKVILLA

With Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is looking to score another Rs 100 crore plus global opener after Pathaan. The Atlee directorial is expected to score a worldwide opening anywhere in the vicinity of Rs 110 crore to Rs 130 crore. While India is headed to gross in the range of Rs 70 crore, overseas is expected to clock in the USD 5 Million range. 

Jawan is running riots in the MovieMax and MovieTime properties. The film has sold 13,500 tickets in MovieMax and 11,700 tickets in MovieTime as of Wednesday at 5.30 PM. While MovieMax is already an all time record, there isn’t enough data-set available from MovieTime to check on the statistics of advance booking.

At 4.30 PM on Wednesday, Jawan has sold 4.42 lakh tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox and Cinepolis. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer is fast racing towards KGF 2’s number in national chains.

While the three national chains are all set to challenge the advance booking of Pathaan, Jawan is already creating new benchmarks in the non-national chains. The SRK starrer has sold over 12 lakh tickets for the opening day in India as of 4 pm on Wednesday, which is among the highest of all time. For those unaware, the nationwide advance for Pathaan’s opening day was around 10.50 lakh.

At 2 pm on Wednesday, Jawan has topped the advance booking of War in the three national chains – PVR, Inox & Cinepolis. The SRK starrer has sold 4.16 lakh tickets in PVR, Inox and Cinepolis and is fast headed towards the 5 lakh mark by end of day.

The demand for Jawan is on the rise in the international markets as the screencount is increasing by the hour. What seemed like a 3500 screen release in the morning, is now looking at a release on over 4000 screens in the overseas market. There is humongous demand among the cinema owners internationally leading to a spike in showcasing and screencount every hour. There is a possibility for the count to go even higher by end of this day.

Jawan has healthy ticket sales for the extended opening weekend in National Chains. In PVRInox, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has sold approx. 3,20,000 tickets for Thursday, 81,000 tickets for Friday, 1,08,000 for Saturday and 98,500 tickets for Sunday. As far as cinepolis is concerned, the Atlee directorial has sold 70,000 tickets for Thursday, 16,000 tickets for Friday, 22,000 tickets for Saturday and 18,500 tickets for Sunday. The overall weekend sales of Jawan in the three chains is in the North of 7,25,000 tickets!

Jawan has sold 12,500 tickets in MovieMax for the opening day alone topping the previous best of 11,000 tickets sold by Gadar 2. Through the day, Jawan will be looking to expand the lead of its all time record in this multiplex chain.

There’s no one who can challenge Shah Rukh Khan in the UK. The rise of the market for Indian Films co-incides with the rise of Shah Rukh Khan in the last 3 decades. With Jawan, it’s no different. With a day still to go, film has already topped advance booking of Pathaan in top two chains of UK. The overall advance of far is around £220K and the film is h eaded for a historic opening day, potentially over £400K.

The bookings of Jawan are catching up pace in the national chains as the film has sold  3.91 Lakh tickets in the 3 national chains – PVR, Inox and Cinepolis – as of 10.15 AM on Wednesday. The film will soon top War to occupy the fourth in the top advance booking chart.

Jawan has shown good movement in ticket sales at Miraj. At the end of tuesday, the film recorded pre-sales of 34,500 tickets in the chain, topping the Independence Day release, Gadar 2, which scored 31000 in the multiplex chain. Jawan is already 10 percent above the Sunny Deol starrer and will be looking to widen the gap on the final day of its advance.

Jawan has sold around 3200 tickets at City Pride at the end of Tuesday as compared to the overall advance of 2700 tickets for Pathaan. Same for MovieMax, wherein the Atlee directorial has sold 10,500 tickets for the opening day at the end of Tuesday as compared to overall advance booking of 10000 tickets for Pathaan. The film is looking to create an All Time Record in MovieMax by topping Gadar 2, which had sold 11,000 tickets.

Jawan has sold 3,58,500 tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox and Cinepolis – as off Tuesday at 10 PM. While PVRINOX Leads from the front with 2,95,000 tickets, Cinepolis follows with 63,500 tickets. Jawan has now secured the 5th spot in top advance booking of all time in the national chains and will be looking to target a place in the top 3.

Kerala seems to be a state where Jawan is looking to create advance booking record that could stand tall for many years. With a day still to go, the Atlee directorial led by Shah Rukh Khan has recorded pre-sales of Rs 90 lakh, already surpassing the previous best, Pathaan, which clocked an overall advance of Rs 75 lakh. The film will be looking to collect of Rs 1.30 crore in pre-sales Kerala, to create an unheard record for a Hindi Film. A record opening day in Kerala is assured and the thing left to see is by what margin the existing record will be broken.

The Atlee-directed Jawan is on an overdrive in the international markets. As off Monday night, the film has scored USD 1.5 Million overseas in pre-sales and is expected to score an overall advance of USD 3 Million. Jawan will be looking at an all-time record in the international markets topping the previous best, Pathaan.

As reported before, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has become the first ever Hindi film to have a 5 a.m. show in Bihar. The 5 a.m. show hosted by Sanjay Cineplex, Motihari, has already got into the fast-filling mode, having sold 200 tickets against the capacity of 300. The early morning is expected to be Housefull in the next few hours creating history for the state of Bihar. The single screen has sold around 1,502 tickets already for the opening day, with a full-day capacity of 1800.

Jawan has sold around 9700 tickets in MovieMax for the opening day alone, with over 15,000 tickets gone for the 4-day extended weekend. With a day still to go, the film is gearing up to surpass the overall advance booking of Pathaan (10,000 tickets) and Gadar 2 (11,000 tickets) to create an all-time record in the multiplex chain. 

In the last 3 hours, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has sold 7,000 tickets in PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis and has now surpassed the overall advance booking of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, taking the 6th spot in top bookings of all time.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has sold approximately 31,000 tickets in the third largest multiplex chain of India, Miraj, as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday. With 1 and a half days still to go, Jawan has already surpassed the overall advance booking of the Sunny Deol-led Gadar 2 in Miraj. For those unaware, Gadar 2 had sold 30,500 tickets in Miraj until 10.30 PM on Thursday. 

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has sold 3.34 lakh tickets in the three national chains, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis for the opening day alone at 3.30 PM on Tuesday, attaining the 7th spot on the list of top advance bookings of all time. With 1.5 days still to go, Jawan is expected to find itself a place in the top 3 advance bookings of all time.
