Kelis DUMPED Bill Murrary After Just Two Months Of Dating!

Well, we know who Kelis ISN’T gonna call…

Just two months after the unexpected duo made their debut as a couple, the Milkshake singer and her Ghostbusting beau Bill Murray have called it quits. And according to sources for The Sun on Friday, she was the one that put an end to things! The insider said of the couple:

“They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance decided to go their separate ways. They hope to remain friends but also plan to get on with their lives.”

Ah yes, “busy schedules”…

According to the outlet back in June, the age gap pair had been “getting close for a while” after meeting in the US. They’d been spotted together several times, and at one point the acting icon even came to see her perform at the Mighty Hoopla fest in London. On top of that, he was rumored to have gone to MANY of her concerts — and even stayed at her hotel at some point:

“They’ve met up in the States before which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here. They’ve clearly hit it off. They were both seen at the same hotel, and he’s been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla … But they’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them. Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”

They bonded over their spouses’ untimely deaths, according to insiders, and at one point the 44-year-old even offered a cheeky not-response to the 72-year-old being her rumored partner — but it seems like that’s all over now. The “fun” has run its course, and now it’s time to move on.

Meanwhile, the Caddyshack star is still caught up in quite a bit of controversy surrounding his past. Most recently, Seth Green came out and accused him of physical abuse that happened when he was only NINE! While doing an episode of Saturday Night Live back in the day, the now 48-year-old dished on that fateful taping late last year on an episode of Good Mythical Morning:

“He saw me sitting on the arm of this chair and made a big fuss about me being in his seat. And I was like, ‘That is absurd. I am sitting on the arm of this couch. There are several lengths of this sofa. Kindly, eff off.’ And he was like, ‘That’s my chair.’ And then my mom goes, ‘You know, since he’s the Bill Murray maybe give him his seat.’ … He picked me up by my ankles … he dangled me over a trash can and he was like, ‘The trash goes in the trash can! And I was screaming, screaming! And I swung my arms flailed wildly, full contact with his balls, full contact. He dropped me in the trash can, the trash can falls over. I was horrified.”

So awful…
