Lizzo stuns in a strapless black gown as she attends Black Music Action Coalition Gala… but skips red carpet – Daily Mail

Lizzo looked incredible as she attended the Black Music Action Coalition Gala in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday evening.

The 35-year-old music artist — who is the subject of several assault allegations — skipped the red carpet but made a glamorous appearance inside the Beverly Hilton.

The pop music sensation played up her cleavage in an extremely low cut strapless black gown that hugged her curvaceous frame.

Lizzo, born Melissa Jefferson, donned a pair of opera gloves and made a splash with sparkling diamond-encrusted jewelry.

She was honored with the BMAC Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award, which highlights her philanthropy and commitment to social justice.

The other nine honorees at the third annual gala were Jermaine Dupri, Keke Palmer, Sylvia Rhone, Jason Flom, Dr. Menna Demessie, Jesse Collins, Trae Tha Truth, Tariq Cherif, and Matt Zingler.

Lizzo’s sleek, satin dress boasted a wrap-around pleated sash and corset bodice that accentuated the pop star’s waistline and giving her a beautiful silhouette.

The singer-songwriter-flautist dazzled in multiple statement-making rings, stacked bracelets, and a complementary necklace.

In her ears, she modeled stone-covered teardrop earrings and she was all smiles as she mingled at the high-profile extravaganza.

The popular entertainer wore her jet black hair in a side part with classic, bouncy curls, styling one side tucked behind her ear.

She glowed in a soft face of makeup that complemented her natural beauty as she flaunted flirty lashes, blushed cheeks, and a glossy lip traced in brown liner.

A statement from Willie ‘Prophet’ Stiggers, co-founder and chair of Black Music Action Coalition said, ‘The Black Music Action Coalition is proud to honor Lizzo and Sylvia Rhone at this year’s Gala, as they join a group of trailblazers who have made immense impact within the music industry and beyond.

‘We applaud their dedication to pushing boundaries, amplifying Black voices and crashing through those glass ceilings creating space for Black Women.’

This week Lizzo was named in another lawsuit from someone who claims to be a former tour employee – just weeks after being blasted by three former backup dancers who are currently suing her.

The performer’s spokesperson denied the new claims, alleging the accuser ‘never actually met or even spoke to’ the star.

The Truth Hurts hitmaker is now being sued by a woman who claims she was forced to hear racist and fatphobic comments from members of Lizzo’s team while working very long hours, according to TMZ.

The site obtained legal documents in which Asha Daniels claims to have been hired by a member of Lizzo’s team named Amanda Nomura to join the singer’s tour with a gig in wardrobe in 2023.
