Lizzo‘s lyrics to a 2021 track titled, Rumors, has resurfaced due to its references to a lawsuit – as singer is sued by three former dancers for sexual harassment and a ‘hostile work environment.’

The song was a collaboration between the Truth Hurts performer, 35, and rapper Cardi B, which jumped onto the Billboard Top 10 chart at the time of its release.

However, some lyrics are filtering through the internet shortly after dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez filed the lawsuit on Tuesday at the L.A. Superior Court.

Nearly 30 seconds into the track, Lizzo sings, ‘Had to cut some h**s loose, yeah/ NDA, no loose lips/ Now them h**s tryna sue me/ B***h I don’t give two s***s/ All the rumors are true, yeah.’

Since the lawsuit came to light, the Grammy winner herself has yet to publicly respond or release a statement.

Resurfaced: Lizzo’s, 35, lyrics to a 2021 track titled, Rumors, has raised eyebrows due to referencing lawsuits – as singer is sued by three former dancers for sexual harassment and a ‘hostile work environment; seen in June in NYC

Along with the sexual harassment claims, the three former dancers also accused the star of weight-shaming and claimed that they were forced to touch a nude performer while at a strip club in Amsterdam.

The filing states that the trio also accuse the Truth Hurts hitmaker of allegedly ‘inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers,’ inside the club.

The star, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, allegedly encouraged ‘catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas.’

According to NBC News, the lawyer for the three dancers, Ron Zambrano, expressed, ‘The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly.’

He continued, ‘While privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing.’

Lizzo’s dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, is also facing a number of accusations. According to the lawsuit, she shared ‘lewd sexual fantasies’ while also ‘publicly discussing the virginity of one of the plaintiffs.’

The About Damn Time singer is being accused of disability discrimination, creating a hostile work environment, sexual harassment, and failing to stop said issues. Her company, Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc., is also being sued.

In a new interview with CBS News, two of the dancers that filed the lawsuit, Arianna Davis and Crystal Williams, opened up about the allegations that leapt to the headlines.

Other claims: Along with the sexual harassment claims, the three former dancers also accused the star of weight-shaming and claimed that they were forced to touch a nude performer while at a strip club in Amsterdam; Noelle seen above

Davis claimed Lizzo urged her to touch a nude stripper and got the whole club to chant her name before she finally gave in, despite her reluctance to do so.

‘It’s an understanding in the camp that if you don’t really participate and try to get in with Lizzo, you won’t be booked on as many jobs. She won’t like you as much. You’ll be ostracized later,’ Davis told CBS.

Davis claimed both she and fellow plaintiff Rodriguez were reluctant to attend the show, but went anyways and stayed in the corner, away from the stage. However, Davis alleges she was ‘singled out’ by Lizzo to touch the dancer.

‘I was mortified,’ she later said. ‘I even remember trying to cope with how awkward I felt by making a joke about the lotion that the nude performer was wearing…I tried to laugh it off, and unfortunately I left soon after that with Noelle.’

In the lawsuit, the dancers also claim Lizzo had accused them of drinking alcohol before performances, which they denied.

‘In fact, alcohol was never even allowed in our dressing room or on our rider, which is the food and drinks provided to us. So, it was physically impossible for us to do that,’ Davis told CBS.

‘But we were the ones that were blamed for drinking on the job. It was stated to us, by Lizzo, she was like, “It doesn’t matter if I am doing it, doesn’t matter if the band, or anyone else is doing it, you guys can’t do it.”‘

Williams said she was subsequently let go after denying the drinking allegation to Lizzo in a meeting. She explained that she denied drinking and that ‘I would never want to put her, the show, or ourselves or our jobs in jeopardy.’

Past experience: Another former dancer for Lizzo, Courtney Hollinquest, jumped to her Instagram stories to way in her own past experiences working with the singer

She kind of just blew it off and said, “Okay, well if you’re not drinking before well then good for you, you guys are still not performing the way you need to. People are probably saying that because of how you’re performing.”

‘And then days later I was let go in a hotel lobby.’

Rodriguez then expressed how she felt disrespected and also threatened to resign, to which Lizzo said she was ‘lucky.’ When Rodriguez decided to quit, Lizzo showed her two middle fingers and yelled a slur at her, per the lawsuit filing.

Davis and Williams are not the only ones to have spoken out. Another former dancer for Lizzo, Courtney Hollinquest, jumped to her Instagram stories to way in her own past experiences working with the singer.

‘For clarification, I’m not a part of of the lawsuit – but this was very much my experience in my time there. Big shoutout to the dancers who had the courage to bring this to light,’ she wrote in one slide.

Lizzo’s previous creative director, Quinn Wilson, also opened up on Instagram to repost Courtney’s message and offered her own feelings. ‘Echoing what @cquestt said. I haven’t been a part of that world for around three years, for a reason.’

Former director, Sophia Nahli Allison, revealed that she had quit after working with the performer for only two weeks. She expressed that in 2019, ‘I traveled a bit with Lizzo to be the director of her documentary.’

‘I walked away after about 2 weeks. I was treated with such disrespect by her. I witnessed how self-centered, arrogant and unkind she is,’ she added.
