Schweiger, who remains in custody in the Kenosha County Jail, made his initial appearance at Intake Court Friday where a court commissioner imposed a $100,000 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 26.

Schweiger, according to the criminal complaint, sent numerous explicit messages and images of himself via social media and messaging apps over several weeks in late summer to an officer who was working online undercover as a 13-year-old girl.

He was arrested Sept. 15 in the alleyway of the 3800 block of Sheridan Road after allegedly traveling to Kenosha in his vehicle to engage in sexual activities with a minor and provide her with drugs. Police reportedly found crack cocaine inside the vehicle.

When questioned by police, Schweiger reportedly denied sending any nude photographs but admitted to being the person who communicated with the undercover officer. He also said that he did not have any intention of having sexual contact with an underage girl after they met up, but that he only wanted to hang out, according to the complaint.

As a condition of his bond Schweiger is to have no contact with minors or use of the internet.
