Rap Feud Brewing? MGK Seemingly Disses Jack Harlow in Freestyle Rap

MGK disses Jack Harlow in a newly released freestyle. Over the weekend, the Emo Girl singer released a new freestyle set to Jay-Z and Eminem’s Renegade. While his version of the song is excellent, listeners quickly noticed a consistent dig at another artist. Eagled-eyed fans perused the lyrics and quickly figured that the rapper was taking jabs at rapper Jack Harlow. While there has been no known beef between MGK and Jack Harlow before the freestyle, fans think the former, who is in a relationship with Megan Fox, was triggered.

MGK Disses Jack Harlow in Newly Released Freestyle

The good old days of rap feuds are here, and hip-hop fans are waiting to enjoy it. Rap is an exciting genre of music, and rap feuds make them all the more exciting. What’s more exciting is the long history of back-and-forth lyrical compositions that will follow after the first jab is taken. More than the lyrical exchanges will be fans who will support both sides of the feuding artist.

Over the weekend, a new rap rivalry was born when rapper MGK released a freestyle to Jay-Z and Eminem’s Renegade. Initially, fans thought it was a brilliant piece of art, but on a further look, they figured the lyrics were a diss. Fans quickly noted that certain parts of the song’s lyrics were directed at rapper Harlow. 

“I see why they call you Jackman/You jacked man’s whole swag/Give Drake his flow back, man,” MGK sang in the freestyle. 

In another line, MGK reinforced his superiority over Harlow, like the earlier referenced “Jackman.” It didn’t take long to figure out that the “Jackman” in the lyrics pointed directly to Harlow’s third studio album, Jackman. One might be curious as to why MGK swiped at Harlow, and the answer is not far-fetched. Harlow might have unknowingly drawn the first blood when his single They Don’t Love It debuted with his album barely weeks ago. A verse on the song where Harlow crowned himself as the greatest white rapper after Eminem captured listeners’ interest. While the bold proclamation has led to a discourse on social media, it didn’t quite sit well with MGK.

MGK’s Rap Feud History

The impending MGK and Jack Harlow feud isn’t the first one the Bloody Valentine rapper has engaged in. In 2012, a tweet from the rapper about Eminem’s daughter led to one of the biggest feuds of MGK’s career. Years later, in 2018, the rapper was featured on a track where he went full out on the rap legend. MGK’s lyrics on that song led to a full-blown feud until Eminem floored him with his response in his 2020 Unaccommodating single. Fans are excited at a possible MGK and Jack Harlow feud. As the days pass, eager fans look forward to the Jackman crooner’s response.
