The 43rd annual Tejano Music Awards, the biggest celebration of Tejano culture and music, is coming soon and the first performers have been revealed. The Texas Talent Musicians Association, the producers of the event, have announced that Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia and Angelica Alcoser will grace the stage at this year’s awards show.
Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia is a veteran group that has been making waves in the Tejano scene since the 90s. Their hits include “Si Lo Quieres”, “Mundo Sin Guitarras”, and “Linda Chaparrita”. They have won several Tejano Music Awards, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
Angelica Alcoser is a rising star in the Tejano industry. She won Best New Female Artist at the Tejano Music Awards in 2022. Her debut album, Girls Night, showcases her versatile voice and style, ranging from cumbia to pop.
The 43rd annual Tejano Music Awards will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
