The Texas Music Office is excited to return to SXSW 2024 with two PanelPicker proposals that aim to bring together Texas creatives during both the Music and Film weeks of SXSW. Community Voting for PanelPicker submissions makes up 30% of the selection process and takes place August 8 – 20, 2023.

The Texas Music Office (TMO), the only standalone music office in the US, is leading the way in supporting communities through their policy work and ongoing efforts to support all facets of the Texas Music Industry. The Texas Certified Incubator Venue Program, in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 485, Subchapter C, is the first of its kind in the nation to provide a tax rebate program to qualifying music venues and music festivals in the state of Texas. Join the Texas Music Office and the Texas Film Commission for a joint meet-up that aims to bring together individuals from across the film, tv, digital media and music communities to meet one another, as well as the staff of the TMO and the TFC. Meet individuals with similar interests and learn about all the resources and services available to those working in these industries.
