Two alleged ‘double killers’ men accused of stabbing a teenage boy and a 23-year-old man to death while they filmed a drill rap music video have today denied murder.

Abel Chunda, 27, of Highgate Hill, north London, pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and a charge of attempted murder when he appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink on Friday.

Eden Clark, 29, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to the same charges. He also appeared via videolink.

It is alleged a group of masked attackers carrying Zombie knives arrived at the scene of the music video shoot in Elthorne Road, Archway, north London, on June 29.

Leonardo Reid, 15, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene just after midnight despite the efforts of medical staff.

Klevi Shekaj, 23, who had also suffered stab injuries, was taken to a west London hospital, where he later died.

A third victim, Abdullah Abdiullahi, 28, was injured but survived.

Post-mortem examinations found the teenager and Mr Shekaj both died from stab wounds to the chest.

A fight began as youths played the same song on repeat and filmed on their phones while posing with luxury cars.

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to reports of a stabbing.

Prosecutor Paul Jarvis previously said: ‘There was a gathering in the Islington area earlier that evening of people involved in the production of a film video.

‘The group left the area but returned shortly after midnight.

‘Witnesses report that a group of men then arrived at the scene wearing masks and carrying large knives and set upon a number of people in the group injuring three of them seriously.

‘Two of those injured sadly died and a third victim thankfully survived.’

Chunda, of Highgate Hill and Clark, of no fixed abode, both denied two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

The Common Sergeant of London, Judge Richard Marks KC, remanded the pair in custody this morning ahead of their trial on May 24, 2024.
