A few thunderstorms can’t slow down Taylor Swift.
After fans sheltered-in-place for nearly four hours due to severe weather, the perennial pop star took the stage Sunday at Nissan Stadium for a late-night edition of her “Eras” tour in Nashville. Her third and final show of the weekend in Music City, Swift kicked off the show after 10 p.m., performing past 1 a.m. early Monday.
“There is one element to the stadium tour that you absolutely cannot plan on, and that is the weather,” Swift said on stage Sunday night, per fan-shot videos. “The fact that we had chaotic weather and you decided — all of you — to stay here to count on the fact that we were gonna play this show for you no matter what, that means the world to me and everyone on this tour.”

The surprise songs
On her “Eras” tour, Swift typically sings two pop-up acoustic or piano-backed songs otherwise not in the setlist. On Sunday (or early Monday, if she played these songs after midnight), her unannounced additions included:
- “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” a cut from the bonus “3 a.m.” edition of Swift’s new album “Midnights.” For the performance, Swift enlisted co-writer and producer Aaron Dessner of indie rock band The National to join her on stage.
- “Mine,” a throwback single from 2010 album “Speak Now.” Earlier in the weekend, Swift announced “Speak Now” would be her next re-recorded “Taylor’s Version” album.
On Friday, surprise songs included 2010’s “Sparks Fly” — to commemorate her confirming the upcoming release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Versions)” — and “Teardrops On My Guitar,” a fan-favorite from her self-titled debut release.
On Saturday, Swift played “Fearless” song “Fifteen” and “Out of the Woods,” a single from 2014 album “1989.”
In addition to surprise songs, Swift reprised her 2021 collaboration “Nothing New” with tour opener Phoebe Bridgers for a third consecutive night, despite the storm causing concert organizers to cut Sunday night’s supporting artists. The two singer-songwriters debuted the performance Friday in Nashville.
