After he recovers from his injuries, Milligan will head to Indio, CA to perform at Stagecoach. He will take the T-Mobile Mane Stage on Friday, April 28.

“This is my first time being nominated for a CMT, first time here at the awards, [my] first awards show period,” he said on the CMT Music Awards red carpet. ”So, I’m so glad I could be here at the CMT [Awards]. This is really full-circle for me. I got my start on Sun Records on CMT when I was 17. CMT has really kind of allowed me a career and to be back here in my home state of Texas and back where it all started with CMT, that’s a pretty good feeling. So, I’m a little nervous, but I’m just trying to enjoy it. Everybody’s been so nice.”
