STAN secures LIVE Broadcast Rights for 2023 ARIA MUSIC AWARDS – TV Blackbox

Sydney’s iconic Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal land will once again serve as the hallowed stage for the 37th Annual ARIA Awards.

The event, scheduled for 15 November, is ready to shine a spotlight on the most extraordinary talents in the Australian music industry.

In a groundbreaking development, streaming service Stan will broadcast the ARIA Awards live. The show will go live at 5pm AEDT, marking a momentous occasion as Stan becomes the inaugural platform to live-stream the esteemed event in Australian history.

If you can’t catch the live event on Stan, there’s no need to worry. The Nine Network will air a free-to-air broadcast at 7.30pm AEDT. This allows for a broader Australian audience to partake in the musical celebrations. Further amplifying its global reach, the awards show will also be available on YouTube for international fans.

But that’s not all. Those with a penchant for glamour and celebrity fashion can kick off their ARIA experience with the red carpet arrivals. YouTube will exclusively live-stream this segment, starting from 1.30pm AEDT, offering a front-row seat to the fashion spectacle.

The formidable Roving Productions, led by Executive Producer Craig Campbell, is tasked with ensuring a seamless execution of this monumental event. While the ceremony’s hosts are yet to be announced, the anticipation is already mounting as guesses and hopes circulate within the industry.

Annabelle Herd, the CEO of ARIA, expressed her excitement over the upcoming event, citing its historical significance.

“The ARIA Awards have been a beacon of achievement in our local music scene since 1987,” Herd noted. She emphasized that this year’s ceremony promises to be a global platform that will “make Aussies proud of our outstanding artists and their achievements.”

Stan’s Chief Content Officer, Cailah Scobie, couldn’t hide her enthusiasm either.

“Stan is committed to supporting local content,” Scobie said. “Being the live broadcaster of the ARIAs is a tremendous opportunity to bring Australia’s exceptional musical talents into the spotlight.”

The Nine Network is equally thrilled, with Hamish Turner, the Director of Programming and 9Now, expressing his delight at the continued partnership with the ARIA Awards.

“It’s an honour for us to broadcast the ARIAs yet again. The awards ceremony remains a critical avenue for celebrating the remarkable talents that make up Australia’s vibrant music industry,” he said.
